Abdominoplasty (offered on limited basis-fees involved)
Firms abdomen by removing excess skin and fat, and tightens the muscles. This is most effective in recontouring the waistline following pregnancy, weight gain, or to restructure an inherited body shape.
Image 1: With some methods of this procedure, skin is separated from the abdominal wall all the way up to the ribs.
Image 2: The surgeon draws underlying muscle and tissue together and stitches them, thereby narrowing the waistline and strengthening the abdominal wall.
Image 3: After surgery, the patient has a flatter, trimmer abdomen. Scars are permanent, but will fade with time.
