For hypertensive
medications, a routine appointment needs to be scheduled if your condition
has not been evaluated in the past six months.
Immunization Clinic is primarily for administering immunizations to active
duty personnel. Beneficiaries who are referred by a physicians
order, or who are being screened for overseas assignment will be seen.
Hours of operation are Monday and Friday 0830-1200 Tuesday, Wednesday and
Thursday, 0730-1530.
Allergy vaccinations are administered Monday and Friday, 0730-0830 and 1230-1530. Yellow fever vaccinations are performed daily, Monday-Friday, 1300-1400 by appointment only, please call the Immunization Clinic at 314-6300.
Military Acute Care (MACD). Provides assessment and medical care of minor injuries and acute illnesses. Acute care hours are 0700-2300, seven days a week. Please note that MACD is not an emergency room and is not designed to provide evaluation and follow-up for long standing problems. Any questions concerning MACD can be answered by calling 314-6301. MACD does not provide routine pediatric care. Pediatric patients should be seen at the Pediatric acute Care Clinic or the Emergency Room at NMC Portsmouth, or by utilizing their appropriate TRICARE or CHAMPUS health care provider.
Overseas/Sea Duty Screening. Personnel in receipt of orders should report to the Overseas/Sea Duty Screening Office in Hallway 'F' to start on Part I of the screening as soon as orders are received. Part II of the Screening will be scheduled by the clinic upon completion of all Part I requirements. For more information call 314-6402.
Physical Examinations. Aviation and routine physical examinations are scheduled through the TRICARE Service Center at 1-866-MIL-HLTH. Screening examinations for flight deck personnel, forklift operator, selected passenger and fire fighting personnel can be completed Monday through Friday, 0800-0900, on a walk-in basis.
Optometry. Personnel may schedule appointments through TRICARE by calling 1-866-MIL-HLTH. Appointments are for active duty personnel ONLY. Appointments are available from 0600-1600, Mon-Fri.
OB/GYN. Provides non-complicated prenatal care and education. Educational classes are divided into three parts: General Pregnancy Information, Labor and Delivery, and Feeding your Newborn. For an appointment call 1-866-MIL-HLTH.
Wellness Center. Provides beneficiaries with an integrated program of education, physical fitness and prevention designed to promote lasting lifestyle changes. Hours of Operation: 0730-1600, Mon-Fri. Phone: (757) 445-1443.
