INPATIENT AVAILABILITY: Telephones are located in patient rooms for incoming and direct dial outgoing local calls. Patients must call extension 3-7925 and ask the attendant to connect them to an operator to make a long distance telephone call. All long distance telephone calls must be made as either a collect call or billed to a calling card and not charged to the Naval Medical Center. Incoming calls to patients in semi-private rooms should be at reasonable hours in consideration of others.
OUTPATIENT AVAILABILITY: Pay telephone stations are available at various locations throughout the Naval Medical Center for the convenience of outpatients desiring to make personal phone calls. If you wish to call on base only, there is a courtesy telephone located in the first floor lobby in Bldg. 215.
