DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: Occupational Medicine Department has two main objectives: to protect the health and well being of workers against the stressors and potential health hazards of the work environment and to place job applicants or current employees in work commensurate with their physical and emotional capabilities according to job requirements. To achieve the above objectives, the clinic perform periodic medical surveillance/certification examinations, work-site evaluations, provide medical care for work- related injuries and illnesses with emphasis on prevention and education. Also available for consultations pertaining to work related health concerns. In addition to the above task we perform a wide variety of military physical exams (i.e., overseas screen, sea duty screen, DODMERB, 5 year/annual physical exams, commission PE, C-school, RAD PE, etc.).
AVAILABILITY OF SERVICES: The clinic is open to all eligible personnel employed by NMCP, Monday through Friday, 0630-1500. For emergencies after-hours or on weekends and holidays, employees should report to the Emergency Room.
APPOINTMENTS
Civil Service employees call 953-7277/5080 for questions and information. Staff member must have a dispensary permit (*OPNAV 5100/9) completed and signed by their supervisor or representative prior to being seen for treatment of injuries/illnesses. Active duty members call 953-2418/5080 for appointments for physical exams/overseas screens.
All staff members (active duty and civilian) may check-in at anytime 0630-1200 and 1300-1500 Monday through Friday. Medical record required for all transactions.
