The Dental Department NAS Oceana is a complete dental facility with all of the dental specialties including Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Endodontics, and Oral Surgery. In addition to the specialists, the facility has four General Dentists capable of performing all phases of Dentistry. Comprehensive dental care is available to all active duty personnel of 28 tenant commands and 20 squadrons in the Oceana area. We treat approximately 150 patients a day.
Sickcall for active duty personnel is 0700 to 1000 and 1230 to 1400. Please call 953-3910.
On weekends, holidays, and after working hours, emergency dental treatment is available at Sewell’s Point Branch Dental Clinic, Building CD-3, on Taussig Blvd outside the Norfolk Naval Station.
